Look at the Pawn Shop finds today,

While my wife was shopping for modifications to her ring, I slipped over to the other side and found a couple of knives that were interesting. Don't know much about either one, other than the Ulster has been cleaned.:grumpy:, but the Cargill appears to be mint.

I like clean knives also, but on old ones like this one, it actually hurts the value. I like this one in spite of the cleaning.

This particular shop had an old man to come in and cash out his lifetime of collectible knives, he is now in nursing home, He brought in nearly 500-600 old knives. They have many more, some good and some not so good. But that was last year and they have been picked over some.
