Nope, just a normal BW one, id say if you're going to be using it often, don't get the composite one, as the normal one is much more durable and will hold it's edge far longer. Plus, it's cheaper

My bad XD i was thinking of a different knife with a two different steels and mixed it up with kershaws leek w/ composite blade. But with the D2, the edge does become more brittle and especially the tip, which is already something that needs to be watched when used...
