Just wanted to put the little guy through his paces.
He performed like a champ.

Happy Halloween, ya'll!!

Great lookin jack o lantern. Nice old timer, whats the model?

It is a Schrade 108OT. A VERY capable little knife. The 1095 Carbon steel on three different blades, MORE then makes up for it's short stature. There's a lot of cutting ability there, and I have yet to come across a task it can not handle.
I love this thing.

Nice work! I did about 70% of the cutting on our two pumpkins this year with a Victorinox Rambler. It got the knife messy as hell but cleaning 'er up in the sink was easy. The great thing about using a little, thin blade is that it makes maneuvering the blade a lot easier.

I carry that one quite often myself, probably more so than the peanuts I own.
VERY capable indeed........

10-4 to this.
My wife gave me a kitchen knife to do the carving with, but I opted for the smaller knife for the precision. Plus, it was the sharpest knife at my mother's house.

Hmmmm makes me think.
Which knife am I gonna use to carve my jack-o-lantern?
or maybe let my kid use.

LOL.

Never seen a carver/artist/whittler use a big old thick wide blade. (Or a big new thick wide blade for that matter.)

That is a pretty scary pumpkin, but he is missing a few teeth here and there. Is he from 10-uh-C or joe-ja?

(Just a joke, I was born in one of them and live in the other.) :)
