I cashed in a huge pile of quarters I've been saving to pay for these.![]()
That's a lot of quarters...Wow, nice! I would have got them both. However, not at close to $1000.
I've been saving them for a while. It really isn't justification for spending that much. I agonized over it a lot. But somehow, I rationalized that using these quarters would be OK - even though it is not. That's a lot of quarters...
I hate that too. Case etches their knives even more often, which I do not care for.How much cheaper would they have been without the billboard?
I know I'm a broken record but that "Limited Edition"' etch really irks me on an expensive knife.
It's kinda like Leonardo putttng his signature on Mona's nose.
Has anyone tried to remove it?
I called them all cokes growing up..orange coke, grape coke, etc. but so many from elsewhere calling them sodas that word had crept into my useage. nowadays i typically call them all by their brand name. such as sprite or crush, etc.I've been saving them for a while. When we were at work every day (instead of mostly at home, like it is now), I was trying to not buy a lot of soda. So I forced myself to put $5 in the vending machine. Then I would get a lot of quarters back in change. The strategy worked because I usually had no more than one soda per day (because I was too cheap to spend more than $5 per day on soda). Or do you say pop? I'm from the Milwaukee area, they say "soda" there where most of the rest of Wisconsin says "pop"
I agree, and have bought a few, but. try not to buy any...I blame my FOMO.How much cheaper would they have been without the billboard?

I bought a 110 with a etched name on the blade from eBay. I used diamond paste to polish the name off. You cannot see it if you look straight at the blade, if you look from an angle you can still make out the name.Has anyone tried to remove it?
My FIL always called them "sodee pops"I dont hear pop down here...but have heard it used in western PA......
Perfect. It's kinda like Leonardo putttng his signature on Mona's nose.
got one on order. yours looks good, how thick are the scales? more than a slim or same thickness?Mine arrived yesterday and I love it. Buck is giving the BCCI discount on this knife.
