Forgot I ordered this guy! Great knife so far. Havent put any hard use on it yet. Came very toothy but sharp, put it on the strop now its the perfect sharpeness for EDC. I like the way it rides in my pocket.

AUS-8 while scoffed at by some has impressed me a great deal. It can take a scary sharp edge with little effort and hold it reasonably well. As to the Rat-1, I feel like they are pretty respectable folders, right up there with the Spyderco Tenacious and the like. In fact I'd probably opt for a RAT-1 given the AUS-8 Vs 8CR13MOV. I think you made an educated purchase.
