Went to Blade last Friday and look what followed me home:
Beautiful example of Dan's handiwork. The fibermascus handles remind me of heat lightning for some reason.
I didn't vote in the poll Dan has up right now because I'm all confused.
I use my blades but this knife is proof positive you can have both form and function in one package! I can get user grade just about any where. Hold this one in your hand and you realize not everyone can do this kind of work. I think what impresses me most about this one is the level of quality and attention to detail. That's what I want in a custom.
It was good to meet you Dan, sorry I didn't hang out more but there was so much to see and I only had 7 hours.
I heartily recommend a Blade show if you can swing it; very easy to spend 2 days there, I felt hurried. Just be prepared to spend a lot of money, I think I saw something at every table I would have liked to get if I won the lottery.
