Its been a very hard week in many ways, not least on Friday I thought my Dad had passed away as he was looking at me,he was rushed to A and E.
Thankfully he has recovered to a degree,I got home at 23.00 last night after several long days and nights.

But its all a bit better today.

As I recieved a excellent parcel from Jack Black (I dont know how to link names).

I used my Bunny to open the parcel.

Some WW2 stuff which always interests me,I will be going out later to lay a defensive minefield following which should stop people blocking my driveway.

I had been thinking lately that I needed a pry bar without the nail lifter as I also use them for scraping.

Tthis one is made from girders of a bridge by the look of it, I cant wait to use it (see youtube).

There is also a nice key ring a vintage pen knife and old bottle oppener, I love that stuff.

Also a excellent decorative Aircraft plate, I allready have a vew they look good on the wall.

I may have forgotten something so here are photos.

Sorry to hear about your dad John, I hope he's going to be OK

I'm glad the Royal Mail finally got the package to you, and that's a happy coincidence about the pry bar. I was trying to fit in what I could without risking damage to the plate! :D I'll put you a clasp knife in next time ;)

Thanks jack
that Lilliput magazine looks like a good read,It looks a little risque in parts for those days.
I will read the story about bad girls first of course 😁

I may try splitting wood with the pry bar after watching some videos on you tube.

Yeah, I was a bit surprised when I saw the magazine, those old folks eh? :D I thought the pry bars looked good. I have a tiny one, which is a handy bottle-opener, but it's far too small for splitting wood :D

Ma and Dad could tell a Lancaster from a B17 just hearing at them. They surprised me one day at the Bourget air show! They also added the Lancasters always came by night and were much, much more precise, an important detail for them because we are living near a huge railway junction and marshalling yard (LaChapelle).
All the best for your Dad!
As always Jack did it and acted as the gentleman he is. 👍
