Stopped by the local gun store today that is having it's own blade show one week following Atlanta. I've been very pleased with the Leek that I purchased a few weeks ago so, with 25% off I could not resist adding a big brother. Needless to say I am very pleased.

I've got a Blue and a Green one and I carry them all the time. Awesome cutters and comfy in the hand. Plus, they don't have the funky stud lock like the Spec Bump.

I actually found a Leek (well, it looks exactly like a Leek from what I can see, I'll post pictures on another thread later) while I was out running one day near some huge contruction area. It's a pretty sweet knife, I just wish the handle on mine wasn't bent out (again, pictures later). Such an awesome design by the way!

They also have a blue Bump. I started to get it but, did not think it's engagement of the framelock/tang was quite as full and distinct as this green one. The color was a toss up so, I went with the green one.

I agree about the stud lock. Its just, well, a bit funky. Perhaps one gets used to it but, from handling the knife at the store my initial impression was that it is quirky. I am conservative when it comes to locking mechanisms. Just give me the tried and true. As well, I did not favor it's more pronounced recurve blade over that of the Bump but, this is purely preference. It was still a nicely executed knife and the G10 scales felt good in the hands.

Too bad they did not have the Leek ZDP-189, I would have acquired it too.

That is a great knife!! I liked my green Bump too. I like how the titanium feels in your hand. And for 25% off, that IS a most excellent score!!
