Sorry sixcoder, but since this forum is available for viewing to everyone including non registered members, and some folks like buying fakes, I don't think we want to "advertise" where these fakes can be found.
If some folks wanna buy counterfeit items, let them search for them, ya know?

I removed your links, but thank you for the heads up. resinguy stated that he sent Jerry an email, and I will also send him one with the link you had included for him to check out.

i never thought of that... that people what to buy fakes... sorry for the links indeed

No worries! Thank you for understanding about the link edit...and bringing this fake to our attention here. :)

BTW, I did already send Jerry the link, so he's got it now.

Not a fan of the fakes. It is appalling.

If one has the means to create a knife or tool, why steal the reputation of others who worked so very hard to achieve?

I may have answered my own question. The fakes play to the reputation of the real deal. Through trickery, decipt or just plain lack of care or respect, these fake items continue to be created.
Kind of wish all the companies real and fakers would just focus on doing the best job in the production and service. World would be a slightly better place if satisfaction of a job well done trumped desire to be financially secure in the shortest time possible.
I don't and I won't buy fakes. My purchases only come from trusted sources.

And I applaud the Busse(kin) group for outstanding products, and exceptional service!
Wish the copy cats would aspire to reproduce the good characteristics and business practices of this wonderful company and not at all any of its products / designs.

Is that some kinda Hog on the clip of the sheath too?

Crazy....

I blew mine up to 400% and I agree Trevor, looks like a cartoonish attempt at a HOG:mad::thumbdn: Damn thievery and nothing butt!!!

I don't know if there's already a Busse-registered HOG logo, but that one looks almost like a flame with pig facial features. Could be a sweet idea there.
But back on topic, :thumbdn: with fakes

This one has been brought up before and the hog on the clip is art by one of our own, iirc mymindisamob, which makes it doubly disturbing.

As Jaxx said, there are a lot of people who will buy these knock offs because they are cheaper and they think the real thing is not worth the money. Sad really. There are heated threads all over this forum from time to time about pirated designs, its really becoming an epidemic. Since most are made in China where they do not honor Trademarks or Copyrights, theres not much one can do but try to keep them from reaching the US.

Maybe if HOGS would quit HOGGING the real Warboars ....
