look what i did last week....

Wow - that's awesome. How long did it take? and was it done w/a busse??? :D

Nice snag btw on the exchange this morning! ;)

sorry to say a busse was not used..... however maybe that could be arrainged.... it only took maybe 4 hours..... from rough burl to finish...

That's really cool. It would have taken me at least a week, a gallon of whiskey, and the cops would have come twice from all the yelling and screaming when it didn't come out just right.

Do you do commision work? Sounds like a whole lot less hassle than the process I'd have to go through...

lol.... i am realy busy with my real company.... but sure i would do a commissioned peice.... esp for you winmagfrog....

i actually entertained making this peice a satin jack holder..... making it a desk sheath..... would love to know what you guys think of the idea

That'd be a great idea. You'd have to be careful how you "stuck" the pig though!

side note: Man, beautiful stuff on your website - love the ceilings and backsplashes in particular.

Really neat wooden porker. I couldn't do that in a month of Sundays and even then it wouldn't end up looking like a hog. I think the desk sheath would be an awesome conversation piece. Go for it and post pics when you're done. Thanks for sharing.

Nice piggy. Nice work.

Here's how you can post pics.
  1. Pull up the pic on Yahoo.
  2. Right click on the photo and choose Properties.
  3. Highlight what's under "Address (URL)", right click, and choose Copy. (Note that this URL is different from what appears in your address bar for the Yahoo page.)
  4. Come back to your Bladeforums post and choose "Insert Image" (icon that looks like a little mountain scene).
  5. A URL prompt will come up. Right click in that box and Paste what you just copied.
  6. Hit OK.
