My first two Spyderco's ever What REALLY nice knives these are! I've been missing out obviously. The remaining two still in transit to me are a Bob Lum Chinese folder in ZDP-189 of course and an Endura 4 British Racing Green in ZDP-189 . . .

They came VERY sharp but I spent 15 minutes stropping each of them yesterday and now they pop hairs . . .

It feels a little harder to me based on the stropping time. Maybe smoother grained too.

If I remember right, Sal said that S90V is the US equivilent to the Japanese ZDP/189.

About 3x the edge retention and a little harder to sharpen and even harder to strop, unless your using diamond paste.

Very nice Knives. I would love one of those Millis but they are $300 here in OZ.
