In my very first post here in the Becker forum, I explained how I found Becker knives.
My grandpa is a knife guy, and is responsible for my interest in knives. He has one Becker, a Camillus BK-9, which I handled a time or two.
Years later, I was looking to purchase a beastly chopper of a knife, and I remembered that BK-9, or rather, I remembered the distinct bolted-on handles, the big beefy blade, and the name "Becker". I did some research to see if I could find one of these knives for myself. That is how I found BladeForums, got a Bk-9 (and other BKs), and became a BeckerHead.
Well, it turns out, my grandpa had another Becker knife...
wait for it...
A Reinhardt Kukri!
I took it out to get some pics and test it out a bit. It is quite impressive at lopping off cedar branches, and that is with what I consider to be a rather dull edge. If this thing had a properly convexed edge, I'm pretty sure it would legally classify as a weapon of mass destruction.
I didn't rough it up too much, as it is the rare and elusive Reinhardt Kukri, but I had to share some pics to prove that it does exist.
