So I just came back from my first knife show, the BACKA in Santa Clara, CA. and saw some very sweet blades!
The show was pretty cool but a little different from what I expected. Not as big per say as the gun shows that I'm used to going to. Also, it was more of a custom knife show because there were very few production blades there. As a result, most everything at the show was a bit out of my price range.
However, there was a Strider table there and I managed to walk away with a sweet knife! I purchased the Strider SA-L. This is a brand new knife but I noticed a few "handling" marks on the blade itself (you can see from the close-up photo). After pointing this out to the seller and bargaining a bit he was willing to let it go for $220 instead of the $275 asking price. I don't know a whole lot about Strider knives but I think I managed a killer deal so I jumped on it.
I am very happy with this knife even though it isn't in 100% mint condition and hopefully I got a good deal. What ya guys think?
And here is the photo where you can see the marks on the blade
The edge itself is super sharp and totally undamaged.
