In a trade for a couple of folders with Phil I got this Paul Long[Sheathmaker] 171UH sheath. This is the first time I have seen Paul's work in person and I have to say it's great.I see what everyone is talking about. The fit is perfect and the simple lines don't distract from the knife. The only thing bad is I'm afraid of is what it's going to cost me for the several sheaths I need made.:D I also got the Maglite in the picture as lagniappe.Great trade.Arnold

Good deal! And you will be surprised how relatively inexpensive PFL sheaths really are, especially considering the quality of materials and craftsmanship.

I'm thinking of asking Paul to make me a foldover sheath for my 41OT.It's mint but I don't have the sheath.I know the original was a flat sheath but I like the foldover better.

He's made a couple of those for me and I like them. I believe they are his favorite style too.

Looks great Arnold.... I'd like to ask him if he could do a side-by-side double sheath for the 167UH/168UH combination.

Nice looking sheath there Arnold. I bought a few of the original 171 sheaths that were on sale from an e-bay store a while back. If I ever get to fill them I know where to go and get first class sheath made based on comments of Pauls work from other BF members.

Upstream, the answer is yes. The logical and best looking set up IMO would be spine to spine.

"I've done so much with so little for so long, that now I can do anything with nothing."

I don't know who said that originally but I sure like it.
