I've admired Oregon Fal'er's micarta scales that he makes ever since he was kind enough to send up his BK7 and 9 for me to play with to help me make my decision on that next purchase. Well if I'm not mistaken he makes them when he can and has only made a hand full of them.

Today I got a set from him in the mail. Needless to say these things are pretty fargin sweet!!!!

These things are way nicer than my kabar micarta (not saying that they aren't nice but) and they fit perfectly on my 5; especially with them shaped at the top of the scales so that my thumb sits nicely down on the blade.

If any of you ever see him with a set for sale; get them. Well worth it IMHO.
 
Uhm, awkward... he was just showing you his latest set, they weren't for you.... ;)
 
They are pretty damn sweet. I'm about to see how they handle cutting chicken.

I sized those to my Camillus BK7 so it s good to see they fit pretty well. Looks like they are a little oversized at guard.
 
Taking a second look at those scales a colored liner might make a nice addition as well.
 
Another outstanding job :thumbup:

Just don't drop those bad boys in anything green - never find 'em :D
