It popped out of nowhere at an online store that I usually never would buy from cause they charge full retail. So I searched for a manix 2 just to see what they want for one of those. And then it appeared in the search results... no picture... no description. There was just the price , the button "order now" and of course spyderco's model number: C101CF90VP2

I received it today. I was really surprised since I didn't received any feedback after my order confirmation. BTW This is my second knife from spyderco.

Didn't want to start with the basics & work up to the better stuff? I feel compelled to warn you that you've probably ruined your ability to enjoy most other good knives. After those two it's mostly downhill, buddy. Spyderco has 3 or 4 models that, in their fanciest dress, approach EDC perfection. Good move pulling the trigger quick on that Manix 2.

That's a hell of a Spydie collection already! If you're done with that Para now, let me know!:D

I used to hate Spyderco knives and their weird looking blades. Come on, you gotta admit it, they do look weird. After my first purchase which was Military with CF and BG42 blade, I became addicted to their knives. I have too many of their knives, too many to count. I foresee you will share the same fate as I did, so enjoy ! :D

I'd love to have a pair like that!!!! I have the s90v para like you and that is like my 5th spyder. I just love them. S90V is one of my favorite steels that I have experienced so far. I pair it up with an M4 manix though.

I had to get my CF/S90V Manix all the way from Australia. :) I also have the S90V Para-2. Both very sweet knives. I'm a CF Spyderco junkie.

It feels good to get lucky every now and then doesn't it!!

S90V is still the one steel I am missing from my current collection.

That edge grind looks good to me. Are you ever going to use one of those?

Probably not. I'm only keeping the one with the higher grind (although it's asymmetrical). Too much not adjustale side-to-side play for me (opened AND closed) and two of them have a burr.
