A few weeks back I was having a hard time deciding between a Blur or a Skyline and ended up snagging a Blur blem from kershawguy. I absolutely love that knife and have been using it as my EDC since it arrived. I figured I'd end up snagging a Skyline blem from him eventually as well. Then I was browsing Cabela's website and saw they had the blaze orange Skyline on sale for $29.99. I happened to also have a $10 gift card, and the knife was eligible for free shipping. So for a little over $20 out of my pocket (with tax), I had one delivered to my door. I didn't know how I'd feel about the blaze orange when I ordered it, but having had a chance to look at it in person, I like it quite a bit. The action is smooth and the knife is nice and light. I can tell already that it will supplant my Blur as my EDC blade for a couple of key reasons:
1) The Skyline is lighter and has a smaller profile in my pocket.
2) I prefer to carry tip down. When the Skyline is clipped into my pocket, I can easily reach in for my car keys without contending with the rather aggressive thumb studs of the Blur.
Having had a chance to fondle this thing and play with the flipper, I get why there's so much love for this knife. Something tells me it won't be the only Skyline in my life for very long.
And without further adieu, here are some pics:
