A couple of weeks ago I started a thread asking which Busse you would keep if you could have only one. Pretty much all of you said that there was no way you would only have one Busse, and when you broke down and named one there were a tone of different blades mentioned.

I decided that first I would try and trade for a Busse to see what the hype was so I did and I got this Fat Game Warden out of the deal.

Well, I thought it was a pretty nice knife so I looked around the exchange and bought this NMSFNO.

Then I remembered that the FBM had been mentioned several times in my thread so I got one of these.

Then I thought that I would really like to have something unique out of the custom shop and this ASH1 caught my eye.

Then I realized that everybody needs a sword so I decided that I needed a Waki.

So in the last couple of weeks I've spent more money on knives then I ever have before and I don't think that it's going to stop anytime soon. I ordered a SCABS and now I'm doing my best to try and talk myself out of spending another $500 at the BCS right now. So thanks a lot guys, now I'm an addict like the rest of you.

By the way, I'm sorry for the crappy pics but I took them on the floor in my workshop with a point and shoot camera. I would buy a new camera but I could buy another knife instead.

Just when buying more, do your research and ask questions. Be careful of the high priced sellers that thrive on impulse buyers.....

I blame you for part of this, selling me two knives when you knew that it would just drive me deeper into this addiction. All of you should be locked away, but be sure and send me all your INFI for safe keeping before they lock you up. :D

I took the slow and easy route. I traded into my first Busse (FBMLE), then bought a SS and a GW, then a BAD, which I traded toward an Ash1cg. (or something like that......I can't really remember the exact order of the last couple).

Then I sold the the Ash1, the SS, the GW and the FBMLE.

Now I am rocking a KZII, a Basic 11, Sarsquatch, a CABS, and a BAD (a different color handle).

Will probably stay as this lineup for a while (unless the Muck changes my mind).
 
Ahh you'll get used to it. :D Now its time to go beat them silly and see what all the hypes about. :thumbup: Oh and welcome to the forum. ;)
 
At least it's a good addiction.

You won't wind up in the streets doing something you'll regret later.

And you won't get arrested.
 
I've only been familiar with Busse for a few months now and am in fairly deep do do. I'm glad my addiction is knives and not alcohal - I'd be dead for sure. I started with the Company Store SAR 3, then another because I was feeling neglected, then a Game Warden, then another (for the satin finish). Then came the Company Store LCABS (I love that shiny stuff). In between came a well used Sus Scrofa just for additional play. Then a really clean satin SAR 8 off from the Forum. And now, the Company Store SAR 6. All from the Blade Forums or the store. I'm also seeing Busse's pattern here. I don't know what came before the SAR 3 but Busse has been upping the size (an corresponding cost) of each successive offering. Come here little boy, have a sniff of this. Between Busse, Spyderco, Ankerson waiving Phil Wilson knives around, and a few others, I'm needing a serious intervention and I may not be strong enough to do it myself. I guess this will self correct when I can't pay the bills and get hauled away.
