These guys are really doing some nice stuff. I'm definitely getting a Bush Hog. The EDC looks very nice, just anxious to see how heavy it will be with those stainless handles. Maybe if it sells really well, we can sweet-talk them into a TI-handled limited run someday.

The purpose of the slots are two fold. One for
making the knife much lighter. The other is for grip!
Its a real strong knife with this configuration.
I am making the ti frame lock version with slots after the shot. Ill have three of them at the show! the will be the bigger size! 3.6 in blade!
Glad you like it!

Gotta love the pricetag on that EDC, especially since it will probably drop some. I'll definetly think about getting one, definetly if a slightly larger model comes out.

I had the pleasure of handling the EDC prototype the other day....

For all practical purposes, it is about the same weight as the small sebenza I had on me at the time, similar size too, but much more ergo and lots more edge on the blade.

Cool
a EDC looks like my favorite this year, but why so short ?????
Blade length 4 to 5 inches and you can have my money! Nearly all of it!

But short blades i have enough.Sorry:-(

Is it just me, or does the EDC have a striking resemblance to the Outdoor edge Paragee from the same designer?

Yes, they are similar, but are based on two different knives Darrel produces, Apogee and EDC. They were designed for similar purposes and by the same designer so they take similar paths to a similar result. Why is that surprising?

The blade height and grinds on those blades are different, as is the size of and shape of the handle to accomodate those differences.
