Not me, these guys:

Yeah, I know my absence was hardly absent but it might get worse soon enough so I thought I'd post this while I can :p

Todd, TPVT, as well as making his first knife and sharing it in another thread also found the time to ship my "old" faithfuls back to me, minus the hiker which will work to instill an JK obsession and ensure it flourishes, very happy to have them home of course but was a little blown away when i found this icluded in the package as well:

Not the JKTK, although I would blow away if he'd manged somehow to get a hold of it off my belt only to send it back to me, no, the lill' 2008 Hooked on fishing Buck 384 trapper

Obviously despite the nice note he included about a "gift" i assume this is in some way meant to shame me for only sending him a "gag" gift in the form of a cheap sharpener because he was enjoying playing with the convexed edges.

But the jokes on you my friend because I love this thing and intend to get lots of use out of it, so there! And if anyone was considering a swap or trade with Todd you can all expect to have very nice knives just "thrown in" for the heck of it, or I'd complain if I were you, :p

Seriously Todd, thank you, you're a stand up and decent guy and there was no need for more then that to make this a enjoyable experience, but I appreciate the heck out of it all the same. :D

Nice!

Case trappers were my first real collector target - that is to say that Case trappers were the first knives I bought just to collect.

Nice gift, Todd!

best
