i just traded back into my JK RWC (river woods companion) i had aquired almost 2 years ago. i've always loved jeff's design and wanted to try it out. but for whatever reason, i traded it for some spydercos. :/ she was listed for sale a year ago, but then was withdrawn by the (new) owner. no big deal, i'll just replace it with the stretched min pot - also a great design, but it's no RWC. :D and here we are fast forward 2 yrs, same member relists and wahlah - she's back! thank you to the awesome BF member who traded it back to me!

I was going to say I don't rmeemebr doing that :) Youa re right it's a great design and I think they look like a perfect knife pairing

He certainly copied your style at the front of the handle.

Honestly, I love that shape for the front of scales for a knife that seees regular food usage. I tend to crowd the front of the scales with my pointer over the front of the scale with my finger tip near the heel. This shape trends to agree with me completely while minimizing hot spots and fatigue while maximizing grip and leverage.

I don't own it :) it has it's useslike you say NJ, I also like the way it sometiems highlights the lines fo the rest fo the design, to my eye anyway, i think of it as the off the shoulder look :p

when i asked the guy to rehandle in od green, i asked him to make them like peter's scales since i liked the shape but not wood handles. hopefully didn't step on some toes...:O but i'm now leaning towards the regular curved front that john normally does. :} all in all, scales aside, the knife design is kick ass and i'm glad to have it back. :D
