Like the Title says im lookin for a knife for a friend, will be used from light-medium usage. (cutting rope and skinning squirrels, minor trimming etc) reqs are:

Drop point
~3" blade
$50 limit (WILL NOT GO ABOVE)
FFG, convexed or Saber, no hollows.
has no preference on locks

bonus for flippers and flow through design

have already shown him the:
Svord Peasant
used mini grip
Delica
Tenacious
Enlan EL-01
Boker Plus Ti Drop point
Gerber Gator in 154cm

thanks for the help

Kershaw leek or scallion, I had a frame lock leek and a liner lock blue scaled scallion and loved them both. I really encourage the blue scaled scallion.

Buck Vantage Avid, I think it's about $40 and made of 13C26 Sandvik steel. For about $55 maybe $60 you can get the Pro version of the knife in S30V

Cold Steel Voyager Medium in Clip point. Just under 40 bucks, so he can pick up a steak at Applebees.

Timberweasel - thanks ill add it to the list

Godsent - Ill ask him but I think he might find the tip a bit week on the Leek, and the scallion might not be able to accommodate a proper grip to cut rope easily

EK20 - He already has a Mora Clipper that hes in love with for a medium fixed blade, though I'll ask him about the neck knives as well.

knife2agunfight - The Vantage series has hollow grinds, something hes not a fan of but ill show him anyway

Res1cue - consider it added.

Thanks everyone for the help, keep 'em comin
