Steve, you sent an email today to me asking about the effects of sandblasting a Sebenza and how it then fits in a horizontal sheath.

I lost your email address, so please email me again so I can put it in the proper place.

In answer to your question, one of the things I try and remember to check with folks is whether or not the knife has been refurbished, as the sandblasting reduces the overall size of the knife and might make it a looser fit than it was initially, especially if I use my knife for the fit up. If I use your knife then it's not a problem. I handled `Senator's ' small Sebenza and he bought a sheath from me and I felt that the knife was looser than I was used to, he on the other hand liked it and took the sheath off me at last years Blade Show. But being finicky I wasn't happy with the difference and was surprised that the sandblasting resulted in that much loss, maybe his was sandblasted more than they normally do? I don't know but I try and check before I take on a sheath for someone.
So you'll know who you are, even if I don't know right now. Sorry bout that!
