looking at getting a really fine finishing stone for after my translucent ark, thinking about a spyderco ultra fine ceramic or a Belgian blue or maybe yellow

what do you guys think? right now i normally go course diamond>>fine diamond>>>extra fine diamond>>>ark>>>strop

so it would be before stropping and would need to be 3k grit+ as my ark is around 2k

I really like the polish I get from the spyderco UF which I've heard is around 8k.

VG-10,SR-101, ats-34, 420HC, 1095CV, plain 1095, 440c, stuff like that

and i use green compound

both are a little expensive for my price range, i'd prefer 50$ or under if possible

Hmm, I've heard good things about the King double-sided 1k/6k that might be just about what you're looking for.

Spyderco UF will allow you to split hair. If you're looking for that type of sharpness, it's a good stone to get.
