Looking at super commander

How does the super commander compare to a benchmade griptilian, spyderco military and Chris reeve large 21? I carry these three in my EDC rotation.
 
Huge sums it up. Definitely bigger than the large 21.....atleast blade width. Beast of a blade, however, atleast in my opinion, fairly light weight. Easily one of my favorite knives. Can't seem to put it down!:thumbup:
 
it's easily one of my favorites also.

I go back and forth with that and my cqc-11 as my EDC knives lately.

The Super is a LOT bigger than my large Sebenza 21.

I like the size of my spyderco military. One of my favorites thus far. Looking at getting my first Emerson now. I like the blade shape of the "commander" knives. I can deal with larger knives but it's also got to be useful for EDC and still be able to slice well. Will opening packages with it be like using a machete or does it handle well? Which other commander knives are close in size but more useable if this one is wayyyyy too big.
 
And I'm guessing the jungle commander and commander are the same thing, just a different color? I'm stuck! I kind of want the super but if it's too big to be useful I'll get the commander.

the super commander is 4'' like the military. Its a knife after all so it cuts well just doesn't "go through" stuff as buttery as the military due to thicker blade but watch out! it cuts! ;-)
 
I had a super comm and it feels really solid in hand. Mine was really smooth and carries well in pocket. It's a big knife but you won't feel huge in hand, the Emerson ergo does the trick!
 
I own quite a few knives including a few spyderco's, but my Super Commander is one of my all time favorite EDC knives.

The grip feels awesome in your hand and I absolutely love the blade design (I got the stone washed to help to hide the inevitable scratches etc.)

I really appreciate it. I just wanted to have a comparison and you rose to the task. Again, thanks. That sold me.

Lol it is, it's just an IPad 2. Yes go upgrade it will only cost you $200 blah blah but I just don't wanna deal with all that hassle ATM.

Firmware should improve the camera. I had an iPad2 from work and they gave me an iPad 3 the week they came out. Camera is amazing (post iOS7).
