Has anyone a Mini Doug Ritter Grip? What do you think of it?
Thinking of getting one, if it is ground thinly enough to be a great slicer. I want a small knife with great blade steel and a smooth lock, Ritter looks like it could be it. I do not want a thick blade. I have a regular Grip (drop point),
and I really like the Axis lock, but now I want a smaller, thinner blade.

I have both sizes of Ritter Grip and highly recommend them both. They are great slicers. I think that the Ritter Grips are the same as, or slightly thicker than the regular Grip at the spine.
They are very practical EDC knives.

The mini grip and the mini Ritter grip have the same blade thickness, 0.1". The mini Ritter grip, however, has a smaller primary edge angle. It goes from 0.1" thick at the spine/saber grind to the edge in a greater distance, 11/16" vs 1/2" for the regular mini grip.

I have the big one in my pocket all day, every day and it's the best folder I have ever owned! I could spend all day telling you how awesome it is. I'm extremely hard on my knives so usually folders (and even a lot of less worthy fixed blades) don't survive long in my hands, but this knife is practically indestructable. I intend to purchase the smaller version in the very near future as well.
