I am looking to find someone who can make me a few sheaths. I need one for a straight wide fibrox handled forschner boning knife and another for an ontario 12" machete with the d handle filed off. Anybody know where to get services like this done? I don't need anything fancy, just dependable with solid stitching

Email me (address is SIG), I might be able to help with one of those sheaths. ;)

for the forschner boning knife I'm looking for a sheath similar to the one in this photo.

That's one of my favorite sheath types. I build them for knifes I plan on using. Good luck finding a maker, there are plenty of guys doing that kind of stuff here. If you can find sombody local that can pattern your knife it would be best.

I just made this last Saturday for my Bark River

Got your email and responded to it. Let me know if I can help with the Machete sheath.

evbouret you should be able to find some one locally and let them custom make the sheath to fit the knife exactly . I just bought 7 sheaths and noe i have to make knivers to fit the sheaths and thats just wrong I now make my own sheaths and have it pretty much down pat. I could do it but i would want the knives to make them fit perfect.kellyw

since the forschners are standardized shapes and sizes I figured there would be some sheathmaker on the forum that had one in a kitchen drawer. I live in Hawaii and know of no one that makes sheaths.
