I have been looking for a new 28" double bit cruiser axe. I have spent many hours on line and seem to get close but no cigar. I have looked on many sights where axes are sold, but have not found one. If you know of an exact sight that sells an exact 28" double bit cruiser axe I would appreciate your help.

Hi keen, welcome to BF! This is the only place I know of:

Scroll down halfway to KAX03

I don't know anything about the company, so I can't help you there. If you do decide to order one, please come back and tell us how it went.

After several more hours of searching I did find a throwing axe that is of the right size made by Grunsfors- Bruks at 190 bucks! We own several G-B's that are great axes, but I am almost afraid to use them for what they cost. Almost I say. I will probably buy the Kelly axe, thanks again.

Does it have to be new? some of the older ones may be better than the new, not Gransfor, but compared to them cheaper seen some on ebaay that are 28" long. If they were for throwing I wouldn't feel so guilty about hurting one of them. Pat

I'd definitely look at the used market. For the price of a new Kelly, you could buy a very nice antique axe, with better steel - even a Kelly, if you want!

I'd definitely stay away from the GB throwing axe. It is a terrible chopping axe. I've tried.
