I have a hard time finding a 3mm diameter straight stop pin for folding knife. The pin that stop the blade from over flipped. Anyone know a place to buy that? Length is about 6mm.
I don't know what it calls, now it's a lot easier.
I am still thinking what to do at this point. I am even thinking about using 1/8"( slightly bigger).
BTW, how do I choose the drill size to get a slightly snug fit but movable? I think if I pick a 3mm diameter drill bit, the hole is going to be slightly larger.
That actually make me think more using 1/8" diameter dowel pin and drill with 1/8" drill so the hole is slightly bigger to get the little slack to compensate the slightly bigger diameter. Being used as blade stop, it's critical for a liner lock where the liner lock has to be tightly fitted on the opposite side. If I use a larger dowel, I might have to grind down the liner lock a little.
