I'm looking for a backpack that can comfortably conceal a 28" long (with the stock folded) rifle. Any suggestions?

I have a Kelty Red Cloud 90 that I've been using this winter. I can roll up a Wiggy's ground pad which is 28" wide and easily pack it down one side. If you were to un-zip the divider between the main pack and the sleeping bag compartment the rifle could ride down the center of the pack close to your back.

But for carrying a rifle I would look at something like the scabbards from Eberlestock that are molle compatible. Depending on your needs you could get a nice molle pack and add a scabbard and come in under $150

As much as I like scabbards when practical, I did mention that I want to conceal the rifle. I don't want it to be obvious in any way.

I'll keep the Kelty you mentioned in mind. I was hoping for something a little lighter, without as many bells and whistles. It is priced well, though. And I hear Kelty makes excellent products.
