I have a gso 10 I'm thinking about trading. Looking for a 5. The 10 is like new condition. The values are different, I'm hoping you can add to your trade.

Howdy Jeff. Welcome to the forum. You may get more traction with a post in the trading forums, linked here. Somebody is going to want to take that 10 off your hands I bet.

Jeff can only do that (on Knife Exchange Forum, whether straight forward sale or trade) if he decides to upgrade to a paid membership and I don't think Basic Members can even post knives for sale, but perhaps can do so on the trade thread.

You are correct Casinostocks, and my apologies. I had forgotten that while Registered Users can respond to sales and trade threads, they cannot start either sales or trade threads.

From the rules:

REGISTERED USERS - The first level of membership. If you have not purchased a paid subscription, you are by default a Registered User. As such, you are very limited to posting areas in the Exchange. You may respond to threads where you mean to purchase an item, or trade. You are not allowed to create threads for Selling or Trading (but you may respond to existing ads). You do have the ability to create Want To Buy threads.

"Trade your knives here... All trades must follow applicable Federal, State, & Local Laws, Regulations, Guidelines, etc No selling! Please post all For Sale posts in the appropriate forums. Open to all members with paid subscriptions"

Maybe they changed the rules there too?

If you are just trying to trade that GSO 10 plus get some $, I'm sure that someone will make a deal with you from the Survive! forum as the word gets around. However if you are planning to expand our trading partners option, you will need to cough up $30 for Gold Membership and then maybe add it to your trade value demand :p

Evidently it still confuses me and I've been here awhile :D

Gold level is like 30 bucks a year, and well worth it if you plan on doing a bit of trading/buying/selling. Sorry for the misinformation, and thanks Casinostocks for catching it :thumbup:
