Looking for a Balison to Buy

I am looking for a balisong to buy. I am a beginner. I am looking for one 25 dollars or under. There is this one at the knife outlet at the inner harbor near my house for 25 and has a 5 inch blade and the handle is silver colored and has those holes in it. If I should get it on the net where and which one? In addition when I get my balisong I want to tape it or something.. Which tape should I use? Please reply with all information i need to know.. Thanks

I'm also a beginer. Got my first butterfly knife a few weeks ago. It was a generic $14.00 model that I thought was a good deal. After about an hour I realized that I could go through a lot of those bargain knives before I gained any sort of proficiency with them.
Next stop: Got myself a couple of BM 42 balis. When you think about it, they are real bargains even at MSRP.
Also got myself a large pack of band aids.

Take a quick look around and you'll find that a good, durable conventional locking folder will set you back $100 minimum and it's not hard to get a lot closer to $200. Now consider the fact that a good balisong like the 42 is a much better knife not only because you can have a lot of fun manipulating it, but simply because it locks up stronger. The 42 will, I'm sure, prove a very durable knife. The 42 is very strong and very well-built. It'll hold up a lot better than many conventional folders at about the same price. Not only is it a great balisong, but it's a great value in a folding knife.

You guys want a $14.99 butterlfy? Mention this thread and any 201 seris is yoours for the price and any 200 series is $16.99... Shhhhhhhh.

Also if you had a back order for a BM-42 in March or April, you knife is going out soon. If you do not have a back order in house then you need to jump on board quick!
