I am looking for something similar to a Laredo but maybe a little cheaper.

What I am looking for in particular is something that has a symmetrical handle and a substantial guard and a straight edge (mostly). Has to have a straight edge.

The Laredo has a belly of corse, but behind that it is straight. I am looming for something with a long and mostly straight edge.

ALSO, something with a full flat grind.

Could be stainless since I am not that interested in making a chopper of it.

I found a used Larado and had it mod'ed to be a user.

They come NOT built to be used as a camp knife or woods blade.

The rear guard is gone, the side of the guards is almost gone and the front of the guard is halved.

The handle was WAY too thick and now fits MY hand.

And now it is shaving sharp,a truly fun blade to wield.

The Browning is a good and cheaper way to go,if you cant find a used C/S.

That knife u speak of is a nice night. How ever I need something that has a handle that is perfectly in line with the blade
