Hi!

Apart from this maker, do you know of any other custom makers that
make knife-combos like this? Preferably with leather sheaths and similar
knife sizes as this?

Not necessarily a shoulder carry solution, but something modular.
I like these style/sizes of knives and I am into getting this in the video, a
fiddleback setup or something else, and that is where you all come in :-)

I live in sweden and I am not aware enough of all the UK, US or other makers.

So please feel free to chime in.

Welcome to Bladeforums, Daniel. I moved this to our Outdoor Gear forum, where the regulars will be more familiar with the styles and makers you're looking for. Customs & Handmade has a different emphasis, more towards completed knives, especially high-end collectibles.

Rather than watch a 36 minute youtube video, interested members can advance the video to 5:20 to see the subject knife set.

Commercial Produced? Try Condor knives at www.condortk.com . That big knife looks alot like their Hudson Bay and the smaller looks like their bushcrafter.

Prefer Custom made? James Terrio of THK knives. You can search his name in the search box or find him in the knife makers area. James is a member of Blade Forums and has his own sub forum here. Currently he is promoting a May sale. He and his wife Angie also make some great leather sheaths. I think he can meet your needs. Look for the Fugitive.

Of course you could just buy the set you posted in your op.
Hope that helps.

Daniel,
Do you still have the Chopweiler?
If you do, it could be incorporated into similar setup with a smaller knife.

Lots of talented folks around here!!

Doc

Here are a few Kydex rigs to help with some ideas. Mashed cat did these sheaths and I bolted them together.

This is a Huntsman Fell Beast machete with a Tops Dragonfly and Leatherman Charge. I am expecting a matching Companion knife from Hunter to replace the Dragonfly.

Just bolted the Rat 3 on the Junglas sheath for my son. He is 13 years old and crazy about this setup. I got his strap from Gander Mountain.

I have something like this, so the 'stacked' sheaths can be done from leather too.

It's made by Leatherman, here on the forums, and I guess the guy who got it wanted a sheath to wear while riding horses.

This one I made for a mate, and soon I will be making one for Swamp Rat's Rat Mastiff and Swamp Warden with ferro rod and sharpener and tin pouch/drop loop.

I have a Chopweiler and a few of the small Swamp Rat/Busse/Scrap Yard knives on hand, so if you want we can work something out. ;)

Ahh. This last one can be really interesting for my chopweiler and HCLE or Swamp warden. Looks really sweet. Could also include my leatherman wave, I suppose :-)
