Hello i was wondering if anyone on here could help me out with some suggestions for a new knife. Im looking for a folder that has a pocket clip in the 3 to 4 inch blade range. But i want the blade to be in a non super steel carbon steel. I want a knife that will patina show its character. I appreciate the way all of my traditionals have started to look over time and i want that on a more modern knife that i usually carry. The only ones i can find are the 52100 Spydercos and the new Tops bob folder. All of my favorite steels are carbon but i just realized that all of my modern folders are stainless. Also i personslly consider D2 to be stainless because all mine wont even tarnish. Thank you all in advance

Spyderco has knives in 52100, cpm-m4, and cru-wear. Benchmade has some m4 but I think all there blades are coated. You could always strip the coating off.

The only reason i havent already got a 52100 spyderco is because i already have a couple spydercos and i kinda want something different. But that is my fall back haha. As far as benchmade i just cant seem to find any designs that i really like so far.

I saw the winkler folders last night but i dont think ill be able to talk my wife into letting me buy a 400 dollar knife. 80crv2 is awesome though. I have it on a skrama and jaarkaripuukko
