Hey everybody ! I'm looking for a tough, simple, assisted opening pocket knife. I liked the Smith and wesson swat knife, I'd like it black and partly serrated, and open able with one hand. good steel for the blade I'm too poor for cheap tools. I like my KA-BAR but it won't fit in my pocket, or at least it'll make people look at me funny on the bus in the morning ha ha. Does anybody have a recommendation ?

thanks every body!

Are you looking for an assisted opener or an automatic. You'll get better advice on another forum if you're looking for an assisted opener.

If you're seriously considering a knife branded S&W and/or said knife in a combo edge then this forum is probably not the place you want to ask...

There is a distinct difference between an assisted opening knife and an automatic knife.
Moving to General Knife Discussion.

The Kershaw Blur is a great knife to start your addiction. It comes in many colors and blade steels.

You haven't set a budget limit, so I'll suggest a ZT 350. Available in black blade and PS edge and it's an A/O flipper.
