Looking for a certain pen brand

I remember seeing a thread on here a loong time ago about a certain ink pen that could be used for self-defense in a bind. It was all black aluminum with a red circle on the barrel towards the tip. I think that it was made in Germany, but am not positive. The brand is something like Rotring (but not that) or something with an L.

Anyone have any idea of the pens that I am trying to find? Any help will be appreciated.

Edit: maybe it was Rotring... maybe just a discontinued model?
 
I have a set of Rotring pens in black. Fountain pen, ballpoint, rollerball, multipen/pencil. Very heavy duty.
