Looking for a cheap leather sheath

I plan on ordering a BK2 very soon and was wondering if anyone out there could make a LOW ride leather sheath for it that also has a small pouch for a magnesium block firestarter for around $50-60:confused: If this is just crazy and not possible please let me know. I'm just getting discouraged cuz when I try to find one that offers what I want it costs a ridiculous amount of $$$. There's no way I can afford a $150-250 sheath, hell I can't even afford that price for a knife at the moment. I'm not asking that this sheath be super thick heavy duty leather like the Hedgehog sheaths, I'd be happy with a squared bottom pouch sheath with a a small retention strap and the pocket on the front. The pocket need be about 1/4" deeper than the magnesium block and have a small flap that hangs over the top of the pocket. I figure as long as the pocket is kind of snug and deep the block should stay in during the type of movements I would make and the flap will keep it dry. Should I want to secure the flap down the road some time I'll put some velcro or a snap on it. I'll appreciate any help or referrals you can offer.

This is almost exactly what I want but with a low ride hanging loop that will drop it down to mid thigh level and an angle retention strap going from one side to the other diagonally with a snap to secure it, and the pocket to be the size I described above.

There are a few on eBay right now in the price range you mentioned $40 to $60. Google Becker BK2 Sheath. They don't have the pocket, but the pocket is rather labor intensive and that is one of the factors driving the price out of your range. Perhaps you could get by with a Bic lighter or some waxed matches instead of the Mag Block. Good Luck!

I've seen most of the ones on ebay and I do really like the scout carry models but I'm wanting a vertical carry first.

I could do something similar but I'd need the knife.
