many of you may have seen the ANthony Hopkins/Alec Baldwin movie The Edge, where 3 men fight for survival in the wilderness of Alaska due to a plane crash. Soon a man-eater bear reduces their number to (2) and the star of the show is a nice custom knife gifted to Hopkins at the start of the adventure.
The knife was made by Brian Lyttle, measuriing 8 3/4 overall with a 3 3/4 blade. It had mammoth ivory grips, ATS 34 steel, and had the character's initials in the bolsters. A pic is attached.
I am looking for a close cousin to this knife. I want a single blade, and maybe stag or bone handles instead of ivory... the Buck 110 is a little smaller than this one, and not sure if Schrade makes a similar version or not...any others I should take a look at?
