Looking for a custom folder

Lately I've been thinking of getting my first custom folder. Not sure where to start as I've only had productions and midtechs. I need some help and opinions on which knife makers to research. I'm looking for either a liner lock or a frame lock with titanium and micarta for around 500 dollars plus or minus a bit if needed. Let me know why and if you have any experience with the maker, thanks guys.

Alan Davis! He is here on the forums and will make it the way you want it!!! He also has a website with some pictures of his work. Kevin :thumbup:

that black g10 looks pretty sweet. Looks like a all around great knife

I've dealt with Alan Davis previously, and have one of his great knives.
Recently, I've purchased a folder from Joe Hoover, and he's a great craftsman and very ethical fellow.
His work is outstanding and his prices are excellent.
I've received one, much like this design. I have another one from him on order.
Cannot say enough good things about either knife-maker. Talk to both...

Greg over at Quest Knives is working with me to create a custom folder, he's awesome to work with. Can't wait to have the knife in my hands!
