looking for a deep carry pocket clip for the new ZT 0804cf

I just got my new zero tolerance 0804cf knife the other day and i absolutely love it! I however do not like the pocket clip. It looks cool but its not deep carry and its also WAY too stiff. I have a hard time clipping in on my pocket one handed and thats after i attempted to bend it a little to lessen the pressure it exerts. This helped a little bit but i still dont like it.
I want a normal deep carry version like they offer on their other knives.

do any of the existing clips work on this knife? it looks like the clip for the 0808 might fit.

Any ideas?

oh and if your on the fence trying to decide if you want to buy an 0804cf you should just go ahead and jump off that fence and buy one. its an awesome knife. Very smooth action, nice big blade at 3.9" plus it weighs only 5.1oz which is light for a knife this size
 
ok so i just got my 0095BW in and it uses the same slip as the 0808. its not a deep carry one but it enabled me to try it to see if it fit so i could buy a deep carry later if it indeed worked.

It did not work as a direct replacement because the 0804cf has the pocket clip recessed in the handle where as the 0808 is flat. This caused the clip to sit at an angle which caused the "leg" of the clip to point upwards in the air The hole spacing was the exact same though.

my solution was to take a piece of kydex and make a spacer type thing which raised it up just a tiny bit higher then the surrounding handle and this worked perfectly. With the spacer/riser you can use the pocket clip made for the 0808 and the 0095 (im sure there are a few other models that use this clip as well.)
So i will be ordering myself a couple deep carry clips for my 0095 and my 0804cf
if anyone is interested i can take some photos to show what im talking about when i talk about the clip not fitting and the riser i had to make in order for it to work. Just let me know and i will take some pictures and get them posted
 
I generally dislike milled clips so I was wondering this exact thing myself. Thanks for trying it out!
 
I have the same issue with the clip. Way too tight and it is hard to get in/out of the pocket. Great knife in all other aspects.

Not sure if anyone is still looking for an answer to this, but I ordered a deep carry titanium clip from MXGear. It's a clip for a 0808. I made a plastic shim for the recessed part. Works and looks great!

i couldnt find one at a reasonable price so here is my solution:
buy this pocket clip for 55 cents . search for "Men Multifunction Money Clip" and sort by price. the 1st item.
cut off the small bent part with an angle grinder. bend the tip of the long part held in a vise. Now the tricky part: pry to make room to insert the screw from the side into the hole . tighten the screw to your 0804. kip the 2nd screw in the rhreads on the other side.
that's it.
sits deep in my pocket easy to pull out

Would a Hinderer filler tab between the handle of the 0804 and a new clip work to fill the recess in the 0804 handle? I don’t own a 0804, I’m just trying to be helpful.

Nice.MXG makes nice stuff. Have a few of their clips for various ZTs.
Their one for the 0452 transforms the knife.

I use the clip from the ZT-0801 on the ZT-0452, it’s longer than the OEM ZT-0452 clip and carries deeper.

I know this is an old post, but I just got a 0804. Would love a deep carry clip, unfortunately I can’t picture what you described so I would love a picture if that’s even still possible. Hope you see this. Thanks
