Looking for a different stockman

I have a Remington Waterfowl knife. It is a stockman patter knife with a choke tool, pin pusher tool, serrated sheepsfoot :barf:, and mustkrat (turkish clip?) main blade. Does anyone know if a company makes a standard stockman (4" or so) knife with a muskrat style main blade?

I like my current one, but would rather have 3 usable blades instead of one and a couple shotgun tools.

Thanks,
Chris

Hi,

The Schrade Uncle Henry stockman is is great(sorry I can't remember the name:().

The Case pattern 18 stockman is also like you describe, and is available in the great CV steel.

Both are in the 3 1/2 to 3 3/4 range.

HTH:D:).

Check out the Moore Maker stockmans. Most of them have a turkish clip main blade, but those are not so pointy as the Remington.
However they are made of 1095 steel and have natural handle scales.
Some of these knives are sold below retail at Big Bend Saddlery, Texas, and you can order from them on-line too.

Cool, thanks. I bookmarked it.

The Schrade knife is the Uncle Henry model # 897UH. The knife is 3 7/8" long closed. Clip, spey, and sheepsfoot blades. Clip blade is as you desire. Stainless blades. Delrin simulated bone handle. Not a bad knife.

I carry the 897UH everyday. I really like it very much. I expect the Queen whittler in D2 may kick it out of EDC. I do recommend the Uncle Henry line though. I have another small pen 804UH that is great too. I was so impressed with it, I was very happy when the large one was an xmas present. I also hear nothing but good about Mooremaker.
