Looking for a display stand

I'm wanting a stand to display my Buck 110's on but haven't found one like I have in mind. I'm wanting something that I can stand an open 110 on, or actually a bunch of them. Picture a 12" wide piece of clear lucite that looks like an L when viewed from the side. It would be about as tall as an open 110 with a ledge at the bottom and pegs near the top the width of a 110 blade. You could stand the open knife upright on it's side that way you can view the scales, blade and blade markings all at once.

Just seems like a neat idea but everything I've run across seems to be for displaying the knife horizontally. Anyone have ideas? I guess I could make something out of wood but lucite or clear plexiglas would seem like a better option since there would be no finish to come in contact with the knives and it won't absorb moisture plus you can backlight it. TIA

Go down to your local hardware super store (here in California we have Home Depot.) and get yourself a sheet of plexiglas and make one that fits your needs.

Buck sell's these single knife stands. If you want some contact Larry O or another Buck dealer.

Can you draw a picture of your idea? What you said in your thread I just can't understand!

Hi BH,

There is a number of shops that sell plastic sheets. They stock and sell these in many sizes and thicknesses. Some of them also do custom work, you could have them cut and glue your stand together. When you have it you can mount small magnets that will hold the knives upright. It's your idea, kinda cool, lets see what you come up with.
