Looking for a EDC custom fixed blade

I am looking for a couple fixed blade EDC knives,one for my girl friend and one for myself,kind of along a neck knife, similar to a Polkowski hang tight. The one for my GF would be fancy/artistic and mine would be a real user,5/32's or so blade length 2.5 to3 ,OAL 5.5 to 6 or so, these measurements are just guesses.Kydex sheath for me, hers will be carried in a pocket book, so something applicable.If anyone has an idea, contact me and I will get you all of my information. Not sure what the first one you mentioned looks like, but ABS Mastersmith J Neilson makes some very nice neck knives with kydex sheaths that are reasonably priced.

All of these are beautiful knives, I would like to have one of each. My girl friends will be more carry than use hopefully, and mine will be way more use than carry, I have been in the Middle East for the past 8 years doing what I do. I have been carrying folders, and the last two have become collectors items while I have been carrying them, I figure a good sturdy EDC fixed blade will be the way to go.I would like the two to be simular, just hers more silver colored blade and ivory or rose wood colored grips, her 642 is brushed SS with custom celtic rosewood grips by Esmarelda,the knife doesn't need to match but a ckick needs to dig it. Thanks for the input. M

Not sure if they'd be fancy enough... but Tom Krein makes a lot of GREAT custom carry sized blades and really good kydex! I carry a Hydra model of his anytime I'm not in the office... and he also makes some a bit smaller and a bit bigger. Just do a search on the Krein Hydra and TK-1 and you should see a few really nice working EDC blades. :thumbup:

Hey, thanks for all the suggestions and information, I'm still looking. My knife will be a HARD use EDC and my girl friends will be an EDC that gets dusted a lot, but hers needs to be pretty, both need to be functional and unique. I'm open, so send me ideas. Thanks. M
