Hello guys,

I'm looking for a folder that meets the requirements that I listed in the title. I like the Cold Steel Ti-Lite, but it seems to be maybe a bit big. Not sure, haven't handled one.

I'm looking for something with an overall length of maybe no more than 6-7 inches.

I like how fast the Ti-Lite is. I was also looking at the SOG Twitch II.

Anything as fast or faster than the Ti-lite or Twitch is cool, just no more than $150.

Also, I live in California and as far as folders, I hear there really is no law against folders as long as they are not assisted like the Twitch.

However, even if it is assisted, tell me about it.

Thank you in advance.

Hey Rento...

Have you looked into a Spyderco Waved Delica or Waved Endura ?

If you are talking about deployment speed,, they don't get much faster than that..

Another  for the Delica or Endura with wave. They come out of your pocket opened, fast enough?

assisted openers should be fine. the law states the blade must be biased toward the closed position, or have a detente. all the assisted openers i am aware of comply with the switchblade law.

anything waved, whether spyderco or emerson, is a good choice.

Hey Guys....

Mori...

Boy you almost wrecked a good solid run on spyderco Advise there!!

You Saved it though I'll give you that.. :) LOL

Ah geez... Thanks, wow, but I can't find them...

Also... Spyderco imo has some freakishly weird looking knives, like the dodo....

Anyone want to link me to perhaps the cheapest place, please?

Also, I can't find the Emerson and I been looking all over for that knife for a while.

I found both of them haha...

Endura:

Delica:

These are actually pretty dang sweet... Wow... Now... I'm having a hard time chosing between the Benchmade 32 Morpho, Delica Waved, or Endura Waved... wow...

The Delica meets my length requirement more...

The BM32 Morpho meets my stealthy requirement more....

And the Endura's blade looks better than the Delica's....

Hard choice...

EDIT: I just looked at actual measurements.... It seems that 7 inches is a bit too big haha..... I want to EDC my knife but I don't want it to be noticeable at all. Even when taken out of my pocket.

Rento,
The BM32 Morpho is a butterfly knife. That would not be legal for carry in California.

Short and fast, I'd say Spyderco Delica Wave.

I know Balisongs are not legal EDC in CA... Willing to take chances for a Bali.

I listed that the stealthy req. be under 7 inches, fast action, fast hiding, concealable, not visible in a pocket, and must be very sharp.

However, the price cap is $150.

SOG mini X ray...Has a low carry clip and very thin, good steel and under a 100 bucks in case it gets taken away. One of my favorit EDC

Balis are fairly slow to open until you've had a fair amount of practice with them. The Morpho isn't any more concealable than the Delica or Endura, and all three are visible clipped to a pocket- the Morpho is not only visible, but identifiable as a balisong when clipped. All three are Spyderco-sharp, though.

Kershaw makes some nice AO knives that might fit your bill- the Leek is an AO knife and it's incredibly thin and concealable... also look up the Junkyard Dog for a non-AO knife.

Sounds good, I'll look it up.

The Clip sits outside my pocket and the knife will sit inside my pocket. But I get what you're saying. It's hard, because I want a knife I can sorta play with, that's why I a quick knife is sorta one of the things I want. Sharpness is also nice.

Something sharp enough to shave with would be awesome, and I know that Spyderco's get that sharp.

That link is dead.

Look at what Kershaw has to offer. They are making changes over to S30V and 13c26 on alot of thier knives. you are bound to find something that you want or like.

note to Spydie fans. dont shoot me please

The Spyderco Delica 4 wave is a great knife. Have you tried looking into the BM axis folders? They open pretty fast as well. I woulkd suggest a BM 556, which should be had for around 50ish. You could also look into the Cabellas D2 version or the Ritter grips that are in S30V.

Top picture is of the Endura4 wave with the delica 4 wave.
Middle and bottom are E4 Wave, D4 Wave and my Ritter Mini-Grip (BM 558 in S30V, that I waved myself)

All open fast but I think the E4 wave is TOO big to EDC unless you are a big person.

titanium mini cyclone is a really good knife it has assisted opening that you can switch on and off and it works great i love mine if you want to see one just go to ebay and type in the name of any knife you want most likely you will find it

I actually edc a sog twitch II right now. This isn't a knife I would have bought, it was a gift, but I have actually grown to like it alot.

I did edc a kershaw ken onion storm II, and considering I bought it at Walmart for like $30, the quality really surprised me. That model would be way big for you, but the leek fits the bill pretty nicely.
