First and foremost, I would like to say that I am brand new to this forum, but I've been lurking for a little while. Let me know if I'm posting in the wrong place. :)

Secondly, I want to say that my budget is pretty low for this custom knife. I'm looking for a 4.5-5" fixed blade in the $100-$200 range. Please let me know if my expectations are not befitting for this price.

Ok, so as I said, I want a fixed blade knife in the 4.5-5.5" blade length, but the main other criteria is that it has a full flat grind. I wasn't able to find a knife that I really like, and in a thread about full flat grind fixed blades many were recommending that a custom maker would be better suited for specific needs.

So here's what I'll looking for:
  • 4.5"-5.5" fixed blade
  • Full tang
  • Full flat grind
  • Wood handle
  • Drop point
  • Any blade steel
  • With or without sheath
So, if any makers are interested, or if y'all know of any makers well suited to the job, please let me know. Also, feel free to adjust my expectations as I'm completely new to the process.

Check out the knifemaker's fixed blade forum here, and see if anything there appeals to you. Based on that, you can reach out to the maker about getting a custom piece made. Link: https://www.bladeforums.com/forums/for-sale-fixed-blades.754/

A few makers in particular who may meet your needs (in alphabetical order, so I'm not picking favorites):
@Alex Dron
@ONeill
@Robert Erickson
@Tony Mont
Thanks for the speedy reply! I'll definitely look into these makers and the forum. Do you think my price range is reasonable?
Thanks in advance.

It’s doable assuming:
  • Inexpensive steel - something like A2 or AEB-L. PM steels will easily run a lot higher
  • Relatively basic wood for the handles. Don’t expect presentation grade stabilized koa. In particular, non-stabilized wood would be a lot cheaper, but may not be appropriate for all uses, such as if it will get wet regularly. Some basic figured ironwood should be decent and inexpensive, though
  • No sheath, or a very basic leather or Kydex sheath

I’ve got a full flat fighter out of the heat treat. Needs finishing. You could pick your pins and handle material.

It’s nj steel baron 1084. Handle is pretty short. What size is your hands?

Pics? I usually need about 4.25" on the handle.
