Looking for a fixed blade sheath for my Buck 110 folding knife...

I want to carry my Buck 110 as if it were a fixed blade and am having a hard time finding anything for it. I even live 3 miles from the Buck factory here in Idaho and they've yet to help me with this problem.

Anyone here know of a fix? The 110 blade is 3 3/4 in. long by3/4 in. wide.

I know Buck just came out with the 101 (a fixed blade version of the the 110) which has its own leather pouch sheath, but I can't find anyone (Cabela's, Black Sheep, North 40, Buck) who will sell me just the sheath. Ive even reached out to some online dealers with no luck.

If I can't find something soon, I'll just have to read up on the DIY sheath making stuff here, dangit!

Hey I live just South of you in Walla Walla Wa send an email and we can get together make you something you would like

I found my solution!

It wasn't easy to get my hands on one of these, but finally, after practically begging the people at the Buck Knives factory (in person!) I got them to find me the sheath that comes with the Buck 101 (the fixed blade version of what I have--the Buck 110 traditional folder).

It's definitely cheap, but for $17, I can't expect anything else. It does what it's supposed to.

If you're a 110 owner and want a cheap fixed-blade style sheath, I would recommend calling the main factory and bug them 'til they get it for you. Supposedly the deal with this sheath is that the 1o1 is a relatively new release, and the factory itself isn't even supposed to sell it or its sheath for a while (something to do with agreements they have with their clients/distributors).

If this method doesn't work, I'm guessing the only other option is good ol' demand-and-supply--get enough people to demand a distributor (say, Cabela's) to provide the 101 sheath, and they'll be forced (gladly) to have the Buck factory make and send them a bunch of sheaths.

This is it...

I'm a framer and wanted a way to cary my 110 open on my tool belt.

Next step, use this as a template for making my own leather sheath...

Claude Scott: Thanks for the offer. If I'm ever in your neck of the woods, I will take you up on the offer! I'm very interested in learning to make leather sheaths.

I have seen sheaths for the 110 ( open ) on ebay. I searched Google and seen them. I,m always looking for stuff for the 110.

Go take a look on the buck section, buck recently came out with what really is a fixed blade version of the 110.
If I was you I'd just buy this, but there's a chance a sheath for it could fit a standard 110 folding hunter.
