Looking for a flashlight to pair with Bugout

I gave a benchmade bugout 535-3 as a gift. Another gift giving occasion has come up and I'm considering an edc flashlight that would look good with it. Looking for one with high power and a good battery life. Any suggestions?
 
Not a bugout fan; so I have no idea what a 535-3 is. Care to show what you're trying to pair a light with?
BTW - high power is subjective, and is rarely mentioned with good battery life (the two just don't go together).
What are you looking for, size-wise... or, at least, what size cell?
 
Carbon fiber or another nicer material would be fine. I would like it to lean more dressy and perhaps with a blue accent to match the knife comfortable to carry. It's the 18th anniversary of my priests ordination. It would help him get around campus at night and he travels out of the country where power is not as reliable, and is called to visit the sick at all hours. I may add a little key chain light as well. Below is the version I gave him. My deacon received the same knife but in M390 with red accents.

An Olight in blue or in black with a blue pocket clip. Baton or Warrior, depending on how big you want it to be.

A few questions.

Budget? Like knives, a huge range to choose from.

Any preference on batteries? I prefer off the shelf AA myself. CR123a are 3V and have more power but are also more difficult to find. 18650 are the most common rechargeable ones.

Size? Do you want something that fits easily in a front pocket? If yes, you are looking at 1xAA or 1xCR123a maybe. Once you get to two batteries, you are looking at 6" or so.
