Hi guys!
I am dialling my EDC set and looking for a folder to accompany this fixed blade:

So what I imagine this folder to be is something between gents folder and regular EDC use with carbon fiber scales and some sort of super steel with satin finish.
Also I want a knife thats fun to play with, flick it open, look at it, to keep me busy when being somewhere out.
Budget would be around 250-300 €.
I would appreciate some suggestions, so far I found Spyderco Domino and Gayle Bradley that cought my attention.
Thanks for help in advance :-).

The Domino and Gayle Bradley are excellent options. A few more possibilities from Spyderco include the Vallotton (it's polished G-10, but kinds looks like CF) and the CF Sage:

I'd probably go with the Sage from your description - it's a great knife and well within your budget.

I'm not sure how you feel about flippers or assisted openers, and the blade may be stonewashed and not satin finished but the Zero Tolerance 0770 in carbon fiber might be worth looking into. Comes in Elmax steel.

Thanks for the replies so far.
ALmost forgot the Vallotton, was allways on my wishlist, maybe the time has come...
I checked a few ZTs but I hate assisted opening and stonewash finish somehow looks cheap to me...and I am not sure if ZT is not too much knife for what I plan to use it for...
Any other suggestions, folks?

With a budget like yours you have a lot of choices! Tell us some requirements?
Tip up or down
What lock type
Steel type
Over all size
Blade length
What will you mostly use the knife for besides playing with orbit course [emoji57].

Well, I do a lot of paper cutting at work and some cardboard and plastic tapes from time to time, occasianal food cutting but just fruits and veggies...
I preffer tip up carry
Size doesnt really matter to me I carried 25 cm otanashi noh ken and was perfectly fine with that so something between 20-25 cm maybe...
I have a couple of lockback spydercos and I find lockback not so enjoyable to play with as linerlock or framelocks, havent tried any other types of lock beside those....
And steel talking I would like to try something like m390, S110V or 204p ...I have zdp 189 and s90v and love edge retention on those....that would be my main requirement regarding steel....

Check out the new spyderco myrtle. Blade very similar to your fixed blade pictured. Pics at spydercollector.com

Domino, Southard or a 940. Excellent knives to flick, a couple of different ways, all day long!

Southard is a beautifully blade. My favorite EDC and truly an all arounder. The Domino is another great option. Both of mine feature a CF scale by Cuscadi.

Seing the blade shape of that fixed blade knife of yours, you might like the shape of the blade of the coming Spyderco Myrtle knife.

But yeah, the Freeman 451 flipper is one cool tough extremely well made knife and fun to flip too :)

Check this one out. Zero Tolerance 0566CF M390... Just got it in the mail today. VERY nice; super slicer.

All are great suggestions!
Makes it even harder to decide now.
I came across a Lionsteel T.R.E in CF and with M390 ...any opinons or experience on these knives?

I think the Spyderco Gayle Bradley is an amazing knife. Given the partially occluded hole it may not be the most "flickable" knife in their lineup but it is still quite fun to fondle IMO. :)

The Spyderco Southard has a blade shape that I think matches up well with your fixed blade.

I also think the ZT0562 would make a nice companion.

The more I look through these knives the more I am being attracted to Spydie Vallotton. Theres just something magnetic about it even it doesnt fullfill tha criteria I want. I am not sure I wont regret it but I am not still 100% sure....

The Vollatton is one slick blade for sure. I liked it from looking at the pictures but once I've held it, I couldn't let go. I don't carry it everyday but when I do it gives me so much joy.
