Looking for a folder with SS or titanium handle, preferably with holes in the handle, something like the Buck Mayo Tnt or the H&K 1440. Any suggestions?

No holes but the Spyderco Police looks pretty cool. The SS version weighs a lot though.

pat crawford make several like ya are looking for, the kasper, perfigo, and others.

spydercom Ti or SS ATR's are great knives.

BM skirmish is another i prefer the ATR though,

I believe Buck make a version of Tom Mayo's customs.

Sebenza has ti slabs of course... Wilson Tactical make something similar.

Depends on budget. Steel is much cheaper than ti.

You can find the Delica in both.

No holes in the handle but one in the blade! :D

I second that. I love my stainless handled Spyderco Delica in VG-10, of course. Just the right size, not to big, not to small for carrying when not at work or outdoors.

Your choice of the Spyderco ATR, is a good one. Take your time! Post what you decide.

spyderco adventura, or ATR would be good choices same with the police.
I would probably go with the mini skirmish though.

i really prefer the ti ATR to the skirmish, i swapped my skirmish for an ATR & was glad to do it.

Just get the Buck Mayo it is a good knife and it sounds to me that is what you really want. If you look around it can be had in you price range.

I dont understand why you wouldnt get the buck mayo tnt if its what you are looking for and in your price range.

Only other metal handled knife that i have held/used that has holes in the handle are the spyderco ATR and the Benchmade Ally. I would not get the benchmade (no red class please) and the ATR is nice but I like the buck mayo tnt more. So its pretty much up to those two choices.

If you want the holes for grip purposes, there are other options. The Kershaw Titanium Bumps (though discontinued) have grooved handles and have great grip without being rough on the hands. They can be found for under $150, fairly often, if you look around. I got a Kershaw Tyrade for under $200 (just barely, at $190) and it has great ergonomics and grip.

Now, a bit rare, but with divots in the handle, is the Camillus Cuda Dominator. That one was a gem. I don't see them often, but you might get lucky.

Othewise, I'd go with the full-sized Skirmish, or the Buck TNT. I'll also second the Kershaw Junkyard Dog II with SG2. I found one for $135, and can't be happier with it. It is also sculpted a bit, with good grip.

These are all Titanium-handled. I don't care for stainless, but that's just personal preference.

Agreed. The Mayo/TNT and Waimea are outstanding knives. I've been carrying knives for 45 years and the TNT and Waimea are two of the finest production folders I've ever owned. You can find them on the net for under 200 bucks - you won't be disappointed. (I recently bought one as a gift from Home Depot online for $185)
